You remember the small local shops from your childhood — you’d walk in and be assaulted (in a good way) by the smells and tastes of sweets? — not something you get so often now as everything is packaged differently… or just plain packaged, gone are the days of 12 different containers open to the world where one and all can pick out what penny and 5 penny sweets they want and dump them on the counter.
Well, gone till I walked in and found this store! Yup, there were the smells I remember, a mix of sweets and newsprint. Lovely
