The Sheridan Food Pub

What better than to drink an Irish Coffee where it was invented? Or even a Guinness Stout to wash that coffee down? I’ve stopped in Shannon decades ago while in the Marine Corps en route to some lesser attractive destinations such as Kuwat and Saudi Arabia, and enjoyed several (as many as you can put down in 20 minutes) drinks with my fellow Marines.
This bar holds old and dear memories and I hope to return one day to raise a pint to those comrades present and past.

Since the main restaurant closes at 2pm you don’t have much selection. Besides this bar when in departures. very poor I found it. too awhile for food to be cooked. and wasn’t very nice. Shannon needs A supermacs or small burger king as this place is only good for drink.

My dog wouldn’t eat this food. Do yourself a favor and eat in Shannon before coming here to get decent food. I ordered an overpriced prime rib sandwich that was literally 2 pieces of dry bread and one thin (¼) thick piece of something that they called meat. It was so tough and tasteless that I now know what shoe leather tastes like. I told the counter person that the chef should be made to eat the food that he prepares and the counter person said there was no way he would eat it ! There was no offer to make it right because they simply don’t care. Three weeks in Ireland and this was my only bad meal

I love this place. I’m military and have stopped in Shannon a few times and the Sheridan Food Pub is always open for us. The drinks are great and the food is good too.
