A truly unique experience. All summer, John and Ellmary serve dinner in the living room of their cottage for 22 people. You book in advance, hop a ferry from Cunnamore pier just before 8 and walk through Heir Island to the cottage. You then start with drinks in the garden (they have a selection of wine on sale) before moving onto a four course set menu in the house. The ferry then drops you back at midnight, where you should have a taxi waiting (it is a very windy and dark road back to Skibbereen). The menu costs € 40, and bottles of wine start at € 20. This is a really magical place to spend an evening.
