tk maxx

So I’m heading away soon on my first ski trip. Need to get the appropriate winter gear so I’m advised to call into my local Tk Maxx (how is it spelled exactly???)
Sligo is my nearest so call in around 11am on a weekday morning. Not a small store and reasonably tidy for my first visit after what I had heard about other Tk Maxx. Plenty of staff around but it’s a kind of biblical system of retail ie «Seek and ye shall find».
Found a nice ski jacket after about 5 mins but then the searching started. Staff were pretty helpful and after about 45 mins I had as much as I could get ski gear related. Thermal socks, long johns, pants, goggles, gloves and the jacket in a different colour (saving me another € 30! with just a change in colour).
Overall not a bad experience. Would take a bit of getting used to but as I was on a mission for that type of clothes they either had it or not. Not sure if I would just head in again aimlessly.
Friendly girl on the check out made the whole experience worthwhile.
