Opened an account here yesterday and had great customer service from start to finish. There was a welcomer, prob a security man but in a shirt and suit pants. Then we had our agent who was really friendly so it didn’t feel like a sales pitch. They open until 1pm on a Saturday which is fantastic for people who work mid week. The only thing it looses a point for is the telephone service, when we called to make our appointment the woman on the line clearly didn’t know what she was doing. The conversation lasted at least 15 mins longer than it should have and when we got to our appointment we didn’t need the details she spent all that time explaining! In fact The agent only knew our names an that we wanted a «current account for bills and stuff» That was quite annoying and made me wonder who I had told all my information to the day before! Other than this, our in store experience was flawless and friendly.

There are bits of this place that feel new and fresh and friendly but the further you go in the older it gets… by the time you make it to the cashiers at the back you have stepped right back into the 80s with a slightly claustrophobic government institution sort of feeling. It’s grand, it’s a bank, not a theme park, it does what it says in the tin.
