How seriouse are these guys about organic food? Very.
I was told that everything in the shop (with the exception of the tinned fish which was in itself suspended in Organic olive oil) was organic.
«Ah ha!» said Q, as he picked up a packet of jellies, bet these aren’t… yup, they were… and at 3.50 a bag they had better be the best blinkin jellies I have ever had! — I took a picture, just in case you wouldn’t believe me!
Eco Logic was the first 100% organic shop in the country — a fact they are rightly proud of and have been open since 2005 — I was surprised no one else had tried to do this before now, the owner told me there was another place in Limerick about 10 years ago but that closed.
The shop is thoroughly inviting, all the fresh produce is in wicker baskets and there are at the moment some of the biggest red apples I have ever seen on display — impressive!
