Locally know as «The Lep Inn», I went there for a work lunch. The place itself was very nice and the food was tasty(they have a pretty great carvery selection). There is a revolving bar apparently which is meant to be pretty cool but, being there for lunch, I didn’t get to try it. Nice pub, a bit far out for me but wouldn’t mind going back to check out the revolving bar.

NYE. Ready for party at my home however first things first. Quick pop on down to this place for one of their fantastic martinis. Having only discovered it recently this is somewhere I shall be sad to miss when I move home. They make a great cocktail and it’s a crazy atmosphere in there with the revolving cocktail bar and palm trees and waterfalls!!!

Great beer selections. Food was decent and ambience was great. Service was fast. Always ask the waitress what they recommend. I am never disappointed when I ask.

I’m a big fan of this place. Cool atmosphere and really well laid out. The revolving bar is a bit of a novelty but it’s great. Had the prawn linguini as well which was good.

After a long, long hike I was pretty exhausted and very ravenous. I stumbled upon this pub, the place is not much to look at from the outside, but once you go through the doors, BOOM! It was like a little disneyland, so much to look at, so much going on. I can’t even describe it, but I felt like Alice in Wonderland. It’s very dimly lit, which makes the pub super cozy. I wasn’t really in drinking mode, but then we spotted these cocktail pitchers on the menu for just 15 € each. We got the Gin, cucumber and elderflower pitcher, so refreshing! And we got at least 3 glasses each out of it. The food menu looked interesting too. They have the standard pub fare options, but also a few good healthy and vegetarian options. My friend ordered the quinoa burger and me the chickpea burger. When the food arrived, two quinoa burgers came out… oops. So while my friend was tucking in, I had to wait a bit for my burger. I tried hers, and it was amazing! It came with a lovely beetroot risotto, salad and skinny fries. I liked it so much, I actually asked the waitress if the wrong order was still out there as I wouldn’t have minded eating it now. But no, the chickpea burger was on it’s way. A few minutes later the manager came over, apologised for the mix up and offered us another pitcher of cocktail on the house. WOW! I was very impressed, this is what is called GREAT customer service, as I hadn’t even complained. My chickpea burger came out after a little while. It was a little bit dry, and it came with a gluten free bun(I don’t know why?) The quinoa burger definitely was the winner that night.(So was the cocktail actually, of which we had a third pitcher… in hindsight not the best choice as it was a schoolnight, but ssshhhh!) It’s a pity this pub is quite far out for me, but it’s definitely worth the trip, which I will be making again. and again.

Very unusual décor. Terrible lighting could barely read the menu or see what we were eating. Food was okay, nothing I would run back for.

This place is unique and amazing for everyone that loves strange furnitures and fountains! Yes, fountains! There is one inside the local and it’s strangely addicting to watch. The food is nice and they have funny promotions during saturdays. I had an omelette and it was very nice. Price is fair and atmosphere is great :)

Consistent food, fair prices, and a menu that appeals to all ages makes this place a frequent haunt for lunch or dinner whenever I’m in the area visiting family. Plus the ambiance is nice and always clean. Their carvery lunch offers a wide selection and is very popular. I like that they also offer carvery small plates/pricing upon request. But my favorite attribute of the Leop Inn is that it’s as much a pub as a restaurant so you can also get a good pint and watch any important games.

Food and ambience is really good — but service is amongst the worst anywhere. Waitresses just walk around aimlessly — no regard for us sitting there, waiting for someone to come take our orders. Then, wait AGES before anyone looks at you so you can get their eye to ask for the bill. Absolutely hopeless

My local. Great atmosphere at the weekends. Prices have gone up recently but it is overshadowed by the great staff and great Guinness. Novelty revolving bar is a centre piece for the place and many love. Serve a very solid carvary on a Sunday. Guinness 8.5÷10

Better tag expected pub grub. Portions are very large. I had the chicken wings(which came boneless) as a starter, followed by the fish and chips. Both dishes were good without being spectacular. A good choice before or after the races.

I didn’t think the place is that nice! Great interior design, very detailed. Cosy and comfort at the same time. Food is surprisingly very good too, I had a steak which was amazing and rare as ordered! Well done Leopardstown Inn, I have eaten in steakhouses and wouldn’t get such a nice steak! Will be back for sure.

As tacky a super-pub as they come, complete with waterfall and Ireland’s only rotating bar. Classy. In fairness though, it’s not bad for a quick(expensive) pint and occasional bite, although it’s pretty standard fare. Unless you’re stuck for time I would say make your way into Rathmines or Ranelagh for a beer, unless plastic palm trees and a swivelling bar are your thing.

The Leopardstown Inn or the Lep as its known by locals/regulars is about a 3 minute walk from my house. I guess I dont really take advantage of that fact too much though! There is always plenty of people frequenting this place. It is pretty busy at the weekends and especially St. Stephens day with the crowd from the Leopardstown races popping in after. Great bar food. Great award winning restaurant upstairs called Greens. Now for the piesta resistance — the cocktail carousel bar– and it revolves! After you are served fantastic cocktails by the award winning mixologists you may be confused if you leave your seat and return perplexed scratching your head thinking ‘hmm I’m sure I left my seat here’. Dont worry though it will come around shortly! Great place, great atmosphere and great staff. Free WFi.

I stopped in here when my motorbike was acting a bit wonky and I must say, it turned out to be a great experience. The staff we wonderful, the food was very good, and I really enjoyed the whole décor of the place.

The most notable thing here is the décor. Everything is over the top and it seems like every surface is covered with some random piece of art or lint fixture. Definitely a bit bizarre. The super tall tuxedo chairs are my favourite. The drinks are pretty average and the food is alright, although a bit on the pricey side for what you get. The service is alright. This is a favourite of a bunch of friends of mine here, although location plays a big role there. Still, my visit was pleasant enough.

I’m writing this almost exclusively from a «cocktails» point of view, since that’s the only area I’ve been to here– and I’ve been here a fair few times. The Lep Inn isn’t the best pub in Dublin. It’s not even the best one on the south side of the city. But, The Lep Inn is a decent place all the same. And The Lep Inn as a cocktail bar cannot be beat. Firstly, the wait-staff, they’re ok for table service. Nothing great, but when the place gets busy there’s a lot of tables that need tending to and it’s understandable that one or two tables might slip through the cracks. I avoid all of this by going to the cocktails bar, the carrousel bar! This is my favourite bar to sit at ever! Usually if I sit at a bar in a pub i feel like i’m in the way, the busier it gets the more i feel that i’m in the way and the more threatened i feel that someone will spill a drink of my reaching to/from the bar. This bar & adjoining seats rotate, not at any great speed, but it moves so much that you’ll notice but won’t be disorientated(which is good because any disorientation caused by drinking would only make matters worse) NOTE: For anyone of a nervous disposition the bar does not rotate very fast, it’s not like you need a seatbelt of anything to stay on. Even if it’s your birthday & you convince them to turn it up to full speed(all the way up to 11) it’s not going to as fast as even a casual walk. You will notice it though, and it is fun to talk to someone, only to look around for a little later and be on a completely different side of the bar! The cocktails served are as pricey as they would be anywhere else, but great. The staff at the cocktail bar have always been informative & entertaining when offering advise on what might be best for you! I have also been there when they decided to test new cocktails/drinks on people at the bar. I don’t think i’d want to go here that often because when i do it’s always such a good night that i’m worried the next time won’t live up to it! A fun place to go with great drinks, what more could you want?

You know the sort of bar that is so busy that its really hard to describe? Well this place is one of those — not busy as in there are so many punters you cant get to the bar to get a pint but busy architecturally — as a first date bar this place would be great, you could get hours out of describing the eccentric interior. The Bar food is pretty good and they always have waitresses to hand to bring the food and drink to the table. The newest addition to the pub is an extension incorporating a revolving bar, the barman showed me the other day how they can change the speed it revolves at but after a couple of pints I was very glad they leave it on the lowest setting for the most part. For the smokers among you(BOOOO, hissssss, dreadful habbit etc…) I can tell you they have a very nice smoking area with heaters and seating and many a happy eve I have wiled there puffing away!

Although I was never a huge fan of the ‘Lep Inn’ Its versatility and popularity are certainly evident. Its new extension dubbed ‘Carousel cocktail bar’ is pretty unique and if you can get over the awful decoration you can enjoy the revolving carousel bar, see what thats like after a few pints. New refurbishment aside, the rest of the pub hasn’t really changed. They still serve decent pints, cocktails and dish up a Carvery lunch everyday. The portions are huge and its no surprise the place is always jammed at lunchtime. Theres also bar food if you just want to have a snack. It’s pretty standard pub stuff chicken goujons, scampi, fish & chips. As always gets a big local attendance, Sunday lunchers and the crowd on the way to club 92.
