Popped over for a takeaway coffee while I was waiting for the bus. My Howth-resident friend Jill had recommended the place to me and my brief experience was top notch. A delicious-looking range of desserts(which I managed to resist… this time). My flat white was really good

Great little deli at the big junction at Sutton Cross. The smallest little shop I’ve ever been into but they manage to produce such amazing food. I am mildly allergic to shellfish but that goes out the window when i visit Minetta as the crab dip is out of this world and worth putting up with some skin rashes for ! Amazing on crusty bread or crackers. The salads are also fantastic and they really bring a whole new meaning to a salad with watermelon and all sorts of unusual ingredients. They have a giant blackboard where they write the daily specials The pizza looks amazing although i haven’t tried it yet. Don’t drive passed this little spot definitely worth stopping in for a look There is plenty of parking just beside it and also some seats outside. Staff are super friendly and really helpful when like me you cant decide what to eat

When they say«Good things come in small packages» this is what they are talking about. The most tiny little shop around but with a massive personality. This is one of those places that just«gets» good food — from the sandwiches(grilled cheese to die for) to the salads(watermelon feta & tomato !!) to the amazing pizzas to the awesome coffee and deserts there is literally nothing that I don’t like. My only problem when I call in is what to choose — I could commit gluttony !! Of course everyone has a favorite so I can never leave without taking some of the deviled crab with me — it is literally one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life. It is amazing on crackers or in a salad and lets be honest I have been found eating it straight from the tub. The place has a really cool style and a kind of NYC vibe with a big blackboard of the days specials. I love that there is a new board up every day with the day and date so you know each day is thought out and put together fresh. They also post it on Facebook so you can check whats on. It is run by two really lovely local sisters and there is a super friendly family atmosphere in the place — when I bring my two year old nephew with me he goes straight behind the counter and gets hugs and kisses and some little treat. Next time you are on your way out to Howth make sure you stop in and see whats on offer — Definitely not to be passed by !

Just grabbed a late lunch at Minetta of a mozzarella, hummus and fresh tomato toasty and a cheeky coffee. I think that you can really tell that the ingredients are really fresh and its refreshing to come across a deli that takes pride in making the menu more creative(they vary their menu a big everyday). The staff are warm and engaging and easy to chat with. It is small and all the seating that they have is outdoor so it’s more somewhere you would go to for something on the go. They’ve done a lot with the small space they have and have the Italy/NYC vibe down in terms of their décor and branding. In terms of food I would recommend the pizzas and the toasties. They run promos like toasty Tuesday’s where all toasties on Tuesday are a fiver. Ding dong!
