As I am from Brasil I am used to really big nightclubs and the Wright Venue would even be small by Brasil standards however it is the largest in Ireland. It has seven bars, as well as five VIP rooms over three floors. As they are so spread out it never feels too big. It is in Swords so a good bit out of town so for me it really needs to be a special occasion to travel out there. It costs about € 30 in a taxi so that’s an extra € 60 on the cost of your night out. The music is really good and because there are different areas there is something for everyone — if you are not in dance music you can head to one of the other sreas and have 80’s. It’s a great place for groups and you can book an area if you know ahead of time that you will be going there.

Worst bouncers ever! Queue is way too long to have to deal with these arrogant arses at the end of it! Sorry sweetie you’re not a real cop so quit trying to act as though ye are. You work security at a fecking club in swords, not even real Dublin. Once inside the drinks are defo overpriced and they should attempt to remember there is a difference between famous djs and your next door neighbour with his MacBook.

I am regular at the Wright Venue. The venue itself is very good, there is so much choice with the smoking area(which has its own DJ), private suites, the purple room(playing oldies like Whitney Houston and the likes), huge dancfloor, private boxes and at least 5 different bars. Me and my friends always have a great time everytime we go. I was there with a group of friends on the second last weekend of march this year. She booked the Los Angeles suite for her 21st. We arrived early and got into the suite. We received 2 large bottles of vodka and naturally people started leaving and coming back into the room. Everyone left their belongings in the suite as we knew most of the people in the room. By half 11 I realised my purse was gone, and having had it 2 minutes earlier, and with only one drink in my system, I knew that I didnt lose it! straight away me and my friends went to one of the security guards, John Burke I think his name was. He checked the room and notified the rest of the security team. At this point they came up to the room and security guard Dave Christie showed me the security camera in the room, assuring me that whoever took my purse would be caught. I went staright down to the cloakroom, having put my bag in the room earlier, I told the lady, Marinela, my situation, she took my details and was so polite and helpful. Within 15 minutes the security team found out who had did it and took them into the back and the police were called. Within half an hour the security team located my purse(stuck down a sanitary bin in the toilets, ew) and returned it to me. I would definitely reccommend this venue. There is plenty to chose from and the staff are are really helpful!

Insane is the only way to describe this club. Go Go dancers, Smoke and Fog, balloon hats etc. Different rooms play different music. You get a little bit of everything here.

I can see why there was a huge hype around this place for a while, given that it’s extremely different from your average nightclub in Dublin. The venue looks unimpressive from the outside, just a building. The location is also inconvenient as it’s literally in the middle of nowhere. This is not the kind of place you’d check out and leave, given that you’re a 30 euro cab ride away from any other club. If you come here, that’s where you’re staying for the night. The music is the same stuff you’d get in most clubs. The club is pretty nice and huge with many different rooms as well as a VIP area. They also have go go girls which is unusual in most clubs here. Their drinks are also pricey. They are also a bit picky on who to let in, as a few groups queueing got rejected. It’s worth checking out, but definitely not amazing.

The Wright Venue is not as big as I was expecting. I think that this is more to do with fact I kept hearing that is the biggest nightclub in Ireland so I was expecting much more from the venue. One of the biggest problems with the venue is in the middle of nowhere(swords industrial estate) Overall the staffs were really friendly and I did have good night in wright venue however overall I think the wright venue it just ok nightclub really was expecting lot more. However I would say if you haven’t been there before it is worth the trip.

I have been there twice and I absolutely love it… I always had a great time(but again it’s hard for me not to have one ;-). The staff is absolutely brilliant, very welcoming, very smiling and super nice! The place is just a big change for Dublin, it’s big(not big enough if you want my opinion ;-), two different rooms(the Main room and the Purple Room). There is a VIP Penthouse… the most boring part of the club… full of people trying to desperatly look good and too cool for school but are definitely not having a laugh… you’ll quick go down to the main stage if you’re a VIP(at least if you’re cool ;-) Their VIP room is a joke though… 1000 € for a private room that can only hold 16 people!!! All right drinks are included but you’re not even interacting with the crowd… some people might like it, I personally don’t! Anyways, great for a change! Too bad it’s far — even though they do have good bus services! People there can be young, lots of locals and a good bunch of culchies(but don’t we love them??:-) Anyways, you want a good night out, that is different that your usual Dublin night go there! Try it!

I went to The Wright Venue last Friday, July 2nd. The beauty of the place is amazing, VIP’s reception, private boxes, penthouse, smoking areas, nice staff, facilities to get there and good transport to get back home. The DJ’s music was great, I really recommend this place if you want to have good craic, the place will be just right for companies who would like to spoil their staff, group parties or just to go and have loads of fun with your friends. The Awards to «The Wright Venue» talk by themselves, you really have to go to believe it, this is «not» a normal disco or a night club people is used to, this is something different and this is what people want. The quality of the events is fantastic, the website has all the info, check it out.

This is the best club i have been in anywhere in Ireland so far. This place is amazing, anything you would never expect to see in a nightclub is in this place. As you are queing up outside they have fire dancers to keep you entertained. When you get inside you have a girl holding a snake to meet you but it doesnt stop there, it just gets better! when you are ordering a drink you have scantily women dancing behind the bar. Later on after having a look around and been blown away by this place we made our way to the dancefloor only to see a robot dancing on the floor covered in lights!(not a real robot, but some black guy dressed as one) :) the music in the main club was excellent, all the old dance classics while also playing the good dance songs from today. If that music doesnt float your boat you can make you way upstairs to the 80’s bar which is soundproofed so all you hear is the 80’s music and not the club thumping below you. from the club itself to the talent inside it, i find it hard to come up with words good enough to describe this place. The drink prices are fairly reasonable and at least you have something to do as you are waiting to get served ‘look at some super sexy Polish girl dancing in front of you behind the bar’ :) it is a bit far out and if you live on the southside it can be a 3 day camel ride for you to get there but i hear they run a bus from a few places around the city centre. I would not be too keen on the VIP suites as they are glass faced boxes above the crowd, when i go into a club i like being on the dancefloor and in amongst the crowd to soak up the atmosphere. I think being in one of those boxes with just you and your friends would leave you feeling a bit secluded from everyone else in the club. Anyone looking to experience the best nightclub in Ireland should head to this place.

Is most definitely the best club in the country! It definitely has the Vegas feel, you wouldn’t even think you are in Ireland once you set foot in the place. Its a completely different experience, the attention to detail is phenomenal! It has something for everyone, so even if you’re not a ‘clubber’ you will still have the time of your life! Heres their website, check it out for yourself

I can’t believe this is the first review of this place to be honest! Three floors of fun, and for private parties of up to 15 people you can choose from the four fabulous suites — New York, Las Vegas, Miami, or L.A. — and these rooms are decorated accordingly to suit their themes. Feel famous for a night at the exclusive new club, often called Dublin’s Hottest. The interior of this place is beyond words, and shockingly it’s free in before 11! Opened in the summer of 2009, this place made headlines because of its unique take on Dublin nightlife. It was also host to the Apprentice’s after show ‘The Apprentice… You’re Fired!’.
