A phenomenal dive! Last chance saloon for everyone barred from every boozer in tallaght! I’ve been here a couple of times and am constantly uneasy! Nice décor lovely staff, clientele not great unless you like shifty types with two mobile phones, who’ll stripe you in a heartbeat

Really gone downhill in recent times. No atmosphere and sometimes terrible pints. False advertising on opening times and send on out way early with disposable cups for our drinks if enough people haven’t turned up on the night

I had been a bit wary of this place as it’s just outside the main gate of a college and thought it would be full of students. Ha, well, if your average student is in their 40s then they’re taking up most of the bar at lunch time! I had heard good things about the night and as I was in Tallaght village I thought I’d give the food a try as it was freezing cold outside and I was starving… The menu cards looked a wee bit beaten and the menu only had a short selection of pub food. Somewhat dismayed I must have shown it in my face as a charming waiter appeared with the specials which were all tempting but as it was lunch I settled for the homemade soup(beautifully fresh and not overly creamy) with a hearty triple layered toasted sandwich to soak it up with. Being slightly too early to order a beer(€ 3.50!) I settled for a couple of warming lattes to help defrost my fingers and mind. A fleeting visit, but one I’d gladly do again no matter the weather!

like a veritable Jekyll & Hyde this place is full of dodgy old drunks and students during the day and full of dollies at night when the place is banging. Maybe not like J & H come to think of it but no matter as the € 3.50 all day beers mean you couldn’t care less. Excellent pint too — it makes you realise how much the other pubs in Dublin are shafting you… Maybe I won’t feel justified in stealing the toilet roll later, maybe after a few more beers I won’t care. Besides that I’d recommend, if only to see the ITT students fuss over the menu for hours then just order a procession of curry chips.

The pub that most people going to It tallaght will know very well. The student bar really. Although with their drink promotions and such they seem to attract the older crowd too. Ive only ever been there to watch football matches. This is the good part of the place as it had 15 screens. So no matter how busy it gets you are not going to miss much which turned out to be a nuisance tonight with such a bad match. They serve food and have a cocktail list and the pub is comfortable. The reason I gave it a bad review is pretty simple. Some of the people in there are not very friendly. There was quite a few pill popping chungfelas throwing bar mats at chungwans across the floor. Scary stuff;-). That was probably harmless fun but as one of my friends said, I wouldnt like to get drunk in here.
