I’ve been frequenting The Derg for many a year now. After quite a long break, we found ourselves back here on a few occasions over the last twelve months.
Now It seems to have really focused on the food and its good. Really good.
The highlights are the crab claw starters, mussels, the Derg Burger and, if they have it on the menu, Apple & Almond pie with vanilla ice cream.
The staff were lovely and friendly, who are game for a bit of banter too.
It can get very busy in the summer months, so I suggest you book a table if you want to avoid being disappointed.

The Derg Inn is a magnificent bar and restraunt in the centre of Terryglass the staff are very humorous. It is a lovely warm and cosy restruant and
the food is wonderful. I would strongly recommend you to go there
