One of Tramore’s oldest and favourite-est restaurants — the Pine Rooms is a lovely converted town-house, with each room serving as a separate dining room. Enormous character! They do great fish, my Mum brings guests there when she wants to impress. My sister swears by their banoffee, and used badger them every time she was there for the recipe. I was there with a group of friends I hadn’t seen since school: we had a room to ourselves, ordered the wine, shut the door and just let go! Really nice to have that privacy and freedom. They have a nice little wine collection, and you can trust the food to be predictably good — tasty and interesting.
