Beachcove Café

This place is simply amazing. While staying in Ballinskellig, we roamed into waterville to look around and grab some lunch. This place looked good from the outside, so we decided to wander in. At first I thought it would be just okay. They had basic sounding sandwiches, fish and chips, and a few standard specials. But boy was I wrong. I ordered a coffee and the soup (which was sweet potato that day), and fish and chips. Thank god I was splitting the fish and chips with my husband, because the serving was HUGE. I also must say, this is probably the best fish and chips I have EVER had!
So don’t let the quaintness of the building, and shyness of the woman behind the counter put you off from the place. If you want great fish and chips, this is the place to go!

We stopped by on our drive and they had great parking across the street and the staff was very friendly!
I customized a burger with goat cheese and it was delicious!
Great atmosphere and it’s right on the water!

I had lunch at the Beachcove Café last week and everything about it was great. The food is home made and delicious. I had the Chicken Curry with chips and I loved every bite. The people that work that are all very sweet and care about the food and the service. If you are in the area please stop by. You won’t regret it.
