17 day holiday(including London, Bristol, & Paris) for my foodie & vegetarian family & I and the Glandore in stands out. We stumbled in almost leaving because a tour bus came thru and increased our wait. We are so glad we didn’t leave. The menu looked good but just like any average pub. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, each item we ordered on their menu was the best version of what our foodie imaginations could thought up. Highest recommendation.

My wife and I are on our first trip to Ireland, and we feel so fortunate to have found the Glandore Inn. We had lunch there yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! The seafood chowder is incredible. Delicious! My wife had a mushroom celery soup that was equeally wonderful. My sandwich had local Cork ham and an Irish porter cheese that is made with Guiness! It’s clear that they use very fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is lovely and the view of Glandore harbor is grand. Our meal here was a true highlight of our trip. Check it out.

We were just passing through Glandore on the way to pick up hay(I know, it sounds contrived, right?). We’d never been here before and I have to say, it’s a charming coastal village. We had three places to choose from in the village for a pint and a bite to eat. We chose randomly. What a nice surprise this place was. The food was superb. The Guinness was good. Best of all, we had a great time chatting with the owners and the locals. We even were let it on the local village mystery of the missing dog. A little Agatha Christie-esque. We’re pleased this place is only 30 minutes from our house. Clocked it on the way home. We’ll be back. If you’re in the area, you should definitely give it a try!
