This is a great hotel. The rooms itself are functional, spacious and clean. Ireland is pretty expensive for hotels and B&Bs in my opinion but at 50 euro pp per night(70 if in a single room), its not bad. In my opinion though, there are 3 reasons that make this a spot worth visiting — AMAZING food. I got 2 starters the first night, deep fried brie and the steamed mussels. Both were absolutely out of this world. Some people ordered steaks so large it looked like half a cow had been sacrificed to provide them. The prawns wrapped in filo pastry were also very tasty. Even the crab was fantastic — and I don’t particularly like crab! Basically, all of the seafood here was just stunningly good and beautifully cooked. — Such warm welcoming staff. So so friendly and helpful — Beautiful views overlooking the bay. A wonderful place to stay for the weekend or to go for a bite to eat.
