We arrived in the evening around 5:30 after meandering up the coast from Galway hoping to get to ride for a bit up the Great Western Greenway. Despite the fact that they were closing at 6:00 pm, the shopkeepers agreed to rent us bikes for a couple hours and then meet us back to check them in. They even offered a reduced rate because we weren’t using the bikes for a full day.
The late sunsets (around 10:15 pm) on this glorious June evening allowing for a great family bike ride including meeting a few very friendly locals out enjoying a sunny stroll. It was lovey!
Very grateful for the opportunity to see the countryside from a different perspective and for the hospitality displayed by Bikes 4 Hire.
