As an out-​of-​towner, I’ve only been to Maggies a handful of times. Was there yesterday seeking refuge from the rain after a busy day of shopping.
It’s equally a great spot for a chilled out afternoon beer or living it up on a Saturday night. Crowd is a great mixture of ages and outlooks with a few characters thrown in there!
Staff are really friendly and accommodating. In fact, we asked to keep a glass (our uncle has a right collection of beer glasses) and the lady (the owner, I believe) was just delighted we’d asked rather than other customers who just take them.
I love the décor, it’s lovely and cosy and the loos are immaculate.

Really great spot in Wexford, always our first stop on a night out. Good selection of beers on tap, the Guinness is always good and the atmosphere is always decent, great crowd.
As a non smoker I usually end up in the smoking area when there’s bands playing and just for a little bit more room but it’s all part of the Maggie’s experience.
I fully recommend heading to Maggies if you’re on a night out in Wexford town
