The summer king of our hills, this artificial lakes hosts the poor Florentine citizens and visitors that need an escape from the scorching weather of the city. Situated in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by green hills, bridges, farms and agriturisms, it’s a place where to hang out on the shores, have a picnic, go for an iced drink in one of the bars that also offer a beach service. Also sunsets are pretty amazing there, since it’s poorly illuminated. Only 30 – 40 min by car away, kind of a paradise, very, very quite!
