Grazie mille, Biagi! This was a perfect place to end my trip in Bologna and I was not disappointed. The service was exceptionally friendly, the décor is charmingly quaint and the food was, oh my goodness, so good. I had the tortellini, tortelloni, and a traditional dish from Bologna. Along with a few appetizers and red wine, I left beyond satisfied and my taste buds were thanking me.

The food here was vy good but only if you eat what they aren’t out of lol. We sat down, ordered a bottle of chianti and were told they were out and another bottle was suggested which was great. I then ordered boiled beef and chicken as an entrée but was told they were out so I got the veal. I then ordered a side of roasted potatoes but was told they were out of potatoes(?!) and had a different side that the waiter recommended. Again, the food and wine tasted great but definitely an odd way to run a restaurant. There are many other places in bologna just as good with everything in stock lol

This restaurant is located in the centre of Bologna but not on a main street. The food is amazing, among the best I had in my life and a great place where to get real Bolognese dishes(not strong appetizers, great pasta dishes, good meat and desserts). We were a party of six and have a mix of different appetizers, tagliatelle and tortellini(both superb) and cotoletta alla bolognese, a slice of fried chicken with prosciutto on top. Good desserts, among which budino al gianduia and gelato di crema. Great selection of local wines. Service is friendly and happy to suggest local specialities.
