OK, I get it: Europeans don’t camp. Now I know why. We stayed at a couple «campgrounds» on our trip, and both were basically trailer parks in the middle of cities. This one, however, deserves a particular warning because it is right next to the Autostrada and nearly impossible to actually sleep at. Even with my earplugs, the heavy truck traffic on the exit ramp was too much to fall asleep next to, and (as if it needed to be less enjoyable) they actually have a chicken coop right in the middle of the campground. With a rooster. A rooster that loves to start crowing at 5:15am and doesn’t stop until after 7. Why would you raise chickens in the middle of a campground? Who does that? Do not waste your night and money at this place.
