Riva Cafe’ Como

Sowohl ich, wie auch meine bessere Hälfte hatten Pizza und für uns war es die beste Pizza unseres Urlaubs. Der Boden ist für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr dünn, aber schön knusprig.
Mit dem Service waren wir ebenfalls zufrieden. Jemand anders brachte die Pizzen, aber als unsere Bedienung (von selbst) merkte, dass auf meiner der frische Basilikum und extra geriebener Käse fehlte, hat er sie sofort mitgenommen und richtig belegt wieder gebracht.
Das Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen.
Laut Schild macht die Bar um 19 Uhr auf. Wir kamen 18.59 Uhr und es war bereits offen und der Barbereich im Erdgeschoss voll. Schade, dort gibt es nämlich Apéritif mit leckeren Häppchen. Die hatten wir aber leider schon woanders gegessen, wo früher geöffnet war.

We waited 30 minutes for a waiter. Three! were constantly rushing by. No one came. We left. Posh and no words!

This review has nothing to do with the food at this establishment, I have the utmost confidence that it would have been delicious. This review has to do with the service.
The service is absolutely awful. The staff was insolent and lacked even the slightest bit of punctuality. First, they forced us to wait 20 minutes upon being seated. I was then appalled when they would not let my fiancé and I order just drinks and a single pizza to share, mind you we would have ordered multiple drinks a piece that would have amounted to at least a 50 € bill. The server then told us «is no possible» and «you take up table». There was no line or wait, whatsoever, in fact the restaurant still had open tables. I have never been treated with such disdain at a restaurant in all my life.
I have never made a Unilocal review, ever.
I also do not use harsh language, but…
FUCK THIS PLACE.

Delicious Pizza and huge selection. Fair prices! Nice ambience inside, outside ok. Great place for lunch.

Richtig leckeres Essen. Faire Preise, schneller Service und coole Atmosphäre. Hervorragend!
