I LOVE this church… love, love, love it! Now Santa Croce & the Duomo are obviously special, but there’s something special about this church that requires me to visit it with each visit to Florence. *Maybe it’s because it’s never too crowded. *Or possibly cause it’s fun to see the modern-day monks in their blue robes walking around *Love the location near my Starwood hotels — STR& Westin *Maybe it’s cause it was one of the first baroque architecture churches of it’s kind! *Or maybe, just maybe, because BOTTICELLI is buried here! *Tombstone of Amerigo Vespucci set in the floor… *AMAZING artwork So please… be peaceful, quiet, and respectful when you visit this still in-use house of worship.

The is Church Chiesa S. Salvatore IN Ognissanti is beside a decent Piazza near the water Piazza D’ognissanti and the Piazza has a sculpture of a man fighting a lion… and guess who that man is? ITSHERCULES!!! The actual building of the church is remarkable as it has age and show you some history.
