5 stars for the food. We all had the pasta with bore meat to start. We all agreed that it was delicious. The pasta was freshly made and served al dente. The sauce with carrots, peppercorns, and wild boar meat was phenomenal. Next, we shared the beef fillet cooked in ashes. It was cooked perfectly and we all enjoyed it. We also shared side dishes of salad, white beans, and fries. Finally, we each ordered the desert. All were exceptional.
Ambience was not superb as we sat inside, but servers were super nice.
Lot’s of foreigners, but it didn’t seem touristy.
Highly recommended.

We were stuck in Florence at an early evening in September, it was raining and everyone was hungry. I found some nicely rated place on Trip Advisor and took a cab there with a friend. As the luck would have it that place was closed, and we were ready to go back to our friends, but then I noticed another Trattoria that was open few doors down. Told a cab driver to wait, went there to check and immediately upon walking in I just knew I found a gem. We stayed and had an amazing meal. Dishes are innovative and delicious, made with great quality ingredients, and just vibrant. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, of a place where people love what they do and customers love to gather and have a great meal and jolly good time. Great wine pairings and friendly helpful service stuff. If you’re ever in Florence go here for dinner.
