Ok, this is on my top 5 pasticceria list in Florence. If you are in the Piazza della Liberta’ area, you’ve got to stop by. Their bigne (cream puffs) are by far the best in town. The baristas are all pros and super friendly. This bar is pretty old school in the sense the owner knows and addresses all regular customers by name or nickname as they come in and the customers are almost all past middle age … but every time I stop in for a morning /​afternoon sweet and a coffee and/​or late afternoon spritz, I am never disappointed. Prices are normal and although I always consume at the bar, so I can chat with the cool baristas there are a few tables senza table service :) Love this place with their retro bar look.
