Good for a quick bite, but it isn’t grommet. In a good location. The staff were lovely. Reasonable prices. Super quick.

What a hidden gem! Under new ownership, and hands down, the best pizza I have ever had. Wood-fired, and rotated to get the perfect crust; made with the freshest ingredients you can imagine. My wife and I came across this spot while searching for another restaurant, and what a blessing that was! We had the margherita and the mushroom pizzas, and no joke, it was perfection. There is a wine shop right across the street with delicious (and cheap) local wine, so grab a bottle of wine while you wait! There are no tables, just a counter, so next time we will probably get it to go and head elsewhere. Free wifi was a nice touch though.

Stopped here while our clothes were in the nearby laundromat (#touristprobz) and grabbed a few slices of some seriously incredible pizza.
We had the margherita, sausage and broccoli rabe, and 4 cheese and they were all amazing. The crust had the perfect chew but was still crisp on the bottom from the wood fired oven.
The margherita had the right amount of tang from the sauce, a perfect amount of cheese, and a few blistered basil leaves.
The sausage and broccoli rabe was the most unique with flavors of lemon and garlic. Finally the 4 cheese was creamy and so good with the chili oil the owner provides.
I would 100% go back!

After having lived in Firenze 23 years ago I had a quick opportunity to revisit this wonderful city this evening.
I was not particularly hungry but I found this place as I was strolling around my old neighborhood and noticed «Pizza fatto in forno al legna». For those who know… Wood fired pizza is simply the best and this place is truly a step above many around town. It’s not a place for table side dining — however you will be very happy with the Pizza and walk away satisfied for a very fair price!
Give your votes… This place deserves the attention as it is now only a year old and the owner if from near Napoli — the motherland of Pizza!
The Piazza Diavola was fantastic!!!
