Truly unfortunate experience. We chose this restaurant after all of the wonderful reviews, but had quite a different experience. I would like to start off by saying our group is very easy to please and, having been in the industry, really forgiving and patient. The food was great! We genuinely loved each of our selections. I would have rated this around 4.5 on the food alone, however a restaurant can really ruin a good meal with terrible service. That is just what we had… TERRIBLE service. Our drink orders were not taken until quite some time after we sat down. Okay, no big deal. The food came out of the kitchen very very quickly and was hot and fresh. We did not see our waitress again. We ended up being cleared and sitting for approximately 20 minutes before finally flagging a young girl down, who was also serving and could not have been more than 14 years old, to get our pre-​ordered coffee and to order dessert. The espresso was essentially sludge; it was obvious the machine is not cleaned regularly. After sitting for 30 minutes without any acknowledgement of our meal being finished, we asked for the check — and sat… and sat… food was run, people were seated, and we witnessed our server acknowledging other tables requests (they were few and far between as the restaurant was not full and she was not the only server on). She was never to be seen back at our table again. We did the math and left our cash on the table to pay and walked out. This was the quickest response time to anything when the woman at the counter hopped outside asking about our bill. We pointed her to the table where we were sitting and will not be going back. Props to the kitchen for their wonderful work but do not go here if you are looking to have anything close to an acceptable level of hospitality and customer service. Perhaps take-​away would be the better option…

I’m writing this review on behalf of both my wife and me. We saw the menu at this place, after a bad experience at a Chinese restaurant, and decided to go in and have a 2^nd dinner. The previous Chinese place was so bad, even if we weren’t as hungry as before, we felt we needed to ‘right’ the ‘wrong’ we experienced tonight, and try to give it a second try. And boy did this place make up for our previous bad dinner, and then some! This goes to show that not all Chinese restaurants are the same, even in Italy (Florence).
We ordered chicken with mushrooms, and spicy pork in hot spicy sauce, some tea, and water. Our stomachs were half full, yet these dishes were delicious! The service was of course excellent, otherwise we would not be writing this review even if the food was good. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted politely and shown our seats. AND they answered back to us in English which was welcome especially in Italy. At the end of a very satisfying meal, and our stomachs now more than full, we were prepared to give the kindly-​faced waitress a hug, for saving our evening.
Definitely recommend any tired, hungry traveler from any country to try this place. It may not be THE best Chinese food in the world, but it certainly won’t disappoint.

The food was delicious. I had the spicy chicken with a side of white rice. The serving of white rice was a little small but it tasted great. The service was awesome. The moment I walked it I was greeted and shown to my seat. Definitely coming back.
