Tourist Trap! Expensive food, SLOOOOOOW service and bland flavors. Find someplace else to eat.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Could just have been a bad day for the server, but my server was rude. I found a long piece of hair in the middle of my tomato soup, and all the server did was comp the tomato soup. I didn’t get to a manager apology, or anything. Just a «Oh my i’m very sorry». As far as hospitality and customer service, this restaurant could use some help. If you want a true, great gastronomic experience, do not go here.

My boyfriend and I came here for a late lunch after we rubbed the pig statue’s snout for good luck.
The service was ok, not slow but not fast either. The location was convenient sinc eit is next to the market.
My boyfriend got pizza diavola, which he said was just ok. I got a steak, which was good taste-​wise (although not the best steak I’ve had), but it was undercooked in the middle. I had asked the steak to be medium-​cooked and it was medium-​cooled on the sides but the center was more like medium rare.
We got the chocolate soufflé to share for dessert and it was really good. I am such a sucker for dessert so the delicious chocolate soufflé made up for the undercooked steak.
I would still recommend this restaurant, but if you want your steak actuallt medium-​cooked, maybe make sure to ask for medium well or well done because i think florentines like their steak undercooked (we went to another restaurantin florence and the same thing happenned with the steak we ordered).

Pizza was perfect! Pasta was awesome. Really friendly and fast service. Good selection of wine and reasonable prices. I would visit again.

We actually really enjoyed this place. The pasta was good and the pizza had the best crust of anywhere we have been. Atmosphere was also very good. Wait staff was super friendly as well. For sure a 5star.

Basic and tasty fare, fairly priced despite tourist location. Staff are friendly and attentive. Huge Florentine steak is the draw but menu is big with lots of options. Covered outdoor seating is comfy but location has no good views and until the vendors finish closing up the stalls at San Lorenzo market, the area can be a bit noisy.

MammaMia resurrected my trust in Italy pizza. Past couple of times in different places they were horrible, but the Pizza was great in MammaMia’s. However I had their chicken with tomato sauce and it was very bland, at least throw some basil or oregano on it. They had outside eating but the view was just a market. I would come again for lunch and a pizza but nothing more

Terrasse très agréable, nous né sommes pas les uns sur les autres. Staff jeune, dynamique et agréable, nourriture standard, viande excellente selon mon ami. Dessert vraiment quelconque. Pizza très bonne. Toilettes a éviter en fin de service. Note sans surprise. Vin au verre de bonne qualité dommage, le blanc était trop frais. Mais je recommande car les attrape touristes sont partout a firenze
