I went to Piazzale del Gusto when there was the artisan beer festival a few months ago. This was my first time going to the ex-bologna location and I wish I could say I wish I could give a better review. The beer itself was amazing and we absolutely loved trying all of the different types and I hope they do it again. My problem was with the food. We happened to go when there was not many people there and I am a big fan of sagre/food festivals. My friends and I go to ones all over Tuscany so the thought of having a permanent one in the city is fantastic. I ordered a few different things, and we waited more than an hour to get the food, When it did arrive, I ordered spiedini di carne and they gave me one«spiedino» burnt and virtually inedible. I actually thought it was a joke. We complained about it because this was a 7 euro spiedini and they claimed it was the fault of the kitchen saying they didn’t have enough food? They ended up bringing us a ton of food for free which was nice of them but I really would not go there to eat again. However, if they do any more artisan beer festivals or something like that, I would go plan to go AFTER dinner.
