Had the most amazingly delicious dinner here. The wine selection fantastic, bottle picked just for our own taste by the owner. Couple of us also had a white beer that was perfect. The meat and cheese plate to start was a meal in itself. All of us choose the steak and it melted in our mouths. So comfortable and relaxed we stayed for several hours. Hands down one of the best meals in Italy.

Unique dishes, fair prices and excellent service.
Menu is entirely in Italian, but server (owner?) gladly walked us through each item. Outside tourist area and worth the 5 min walk

Thanks to the other Unilocalers we found this gem of a place and thoroughly enjoyed our first lower carb meal in all of Italy! Beyond attentive service and food to make this a repeat even for vacationers! Yum yum!

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have five stars across the board! I lived in florence for a year. This is the best restaurant in the city. everything is fresh, local, and amazing. the guy who owns it is a sweetheart, plans everything himself, gets his ingredients from farms of friends and families, and is deeply passionate about his restaurant. Pure win!

YES!!! YES!!! A MILLION TIMES YES!!! I was lucky enough to be staying directly next door to this restaurant, and, should I ever visit Florence again, I will eat here EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Every single thing on the menu was amazing… the gorgonzola and pear gnocci, the seared tuna, the steak salad… I just can’t say enough about this place. The owner is SO nice and attentive and made sure I was comfortable, even after I broke one of his glasses (sorry!!). Please, please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and visit here at least once during your trip!!!

The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The server was so very helpful in helping me decipher the menu and made helpful suggestions. I started with a pumpkin carrot dish and finished with an amazing pasta dish with zucchini. Everything was simply made but was very complex in taste. added wine and acqua for a total of 24 Euro.
This is a very small place (2 4-tops and 3 2-tops) and it is recommended to reserve a table. I went early on a friday (7:15pm) and had no problem being seated.
