The Bridge – Pelletteria

The Bridge has beautiful and classic purses, portfolios, wallets and other leather goods. I bought a wallet here recently and couldn’t be happier with it. The workmanship is impeccable and the leather is gorgeous. It is something I will have and treasure for years to come.
The only problem I have with the Bridge is the service. The woman who assisted me was not very friendly or helpful. My girlfriend wanted to look at purses but the saleswoman was not the least bit interested in showing her anything. To top it off, she forgot to give me the VAT refund slip – so my purchase ended up costing me about 10% more than it should have.
I’d still recommend checking this store out – but if you’re a foreigner be sure to ask for the VAT refund, and if the salespersons aren’t helpful maybe you will want to check out some other stores. After all, there are plenty in Firenze.
