Trattoria Cucchietta

Trattoria Cucchietta is a very nice place, the interior is new, owners and staff are very nice and do a good job. I love the open kitchen.
Food is very good, they have a good variety of items on the menu. The night we went we had some starters (a bit disappointing in size but all in all nice), and a meat course (excellent quality and cooking). Desserts looked nice but were rather normal.
Now the bad parts. The place is small so if there are groups coming in (like the night when we were there) it tends to get quite noisy. Prices are too on the high side considering that the place is almost in the suburbs. Yes food is good but «that» good.
All in all a nice place, good for a romantic or casual dinner with above average food served.

There are at least two things i love in this restaurant and that would have me walk for miles and miles, a very long time just to eat them: the first one is the wonderful pastas all vonghole that they have all friday at lunch (friday at lunch is seafood day). Those are really far above average and deserve five stars. The second delicious thing here is the chocolate cake «fondente» that I would not miss for anything and to which i am already thinking eating my pastas and waiting for it with great impatience.
Besides those two deliciousness, I have not tasted much during my 3 visits because I did not want to change considering that i loved it, but the persons i was eating with were very satisfied each time :) Also the people are very nice here and welcoming and the place is nice with an open kitchen (you can see the fondente arriving from very far.).
