No thanks! We went there to have an Aperitivo, which in Milan is usually a special deal including a small drink and something to eat. Outside of the restaurant there’s a board saying: Aperetivo 8 € — well we paid 36,5 € for 2 people in the end. First the waitress didn’t speak English very well, when we asked her if the drinks were included or which drink we could take. She suggested a sparkling white wine and so we thought this was part of the happy hour deal. Well no — it wasn’t. Second: She showed us 4 plates from which we could choose. Those were the same as the appetizer plates on the menu and so mine was 10 € My friends was 9 €. She brought us 3 bottles of wine but couldn’t tell anything about it or didn’t let us taste. Third: the food on the starter plate wasn’t even hot anymore(little warmer than my hands), neither was it anything special. I don’t think people in Sicilia eat like that. No salt, no spices, boring croquettes on the plate of my friend — you get better ones in every automate buffet in the Netherlands. To accompany our meal we were handed just a little paper-basket with very dry bread. No thanks, this wasn’t a nice experience.

Really love the food here. I’ve been here for dinner several times and while it might not have the classic restaurant vibe and atmosphere, it sure delivers when it comes to food. Their menu is consistently good from starters to dessert(love the desserts btw!), and until now I still haven’t tasted a dish that did not fully satisfy me. Yes of corse at times you feel that it’s more of a lunch break place than a dinner place(some of the mains could still use some work and fine tuning) but they are definitely heading in the right direction. Always a pleasure to come back here and taste some of the famous dishes from Sicily.
