Be Bop was absolutely amazing! Wonderful service and a giant gluten free menu complete with delicious gluten free pasta, pizza, and desserts baked daily. The gluten free spaghetti and tiramisu are a must try! Great service and very reasonably priced!

Best Gluten free pizza ever!!! My daughter was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and has often struggled to get good gluten free food at restaurants. We found Be Bop on our last day in Milan and both had a fantastic lunch! I have a lactose intolerance so I had the crepes with vegetables in a vegan sauce — delicious

We ordered gluten free pizza and Milanese veal. Both were excellent. The service was great. We asked to sample Spicy pepper and Melon sorbet, the waiter gladly provided us a sample free of charge!

Gluten-free corn-based tagliatelle with shrimp, squid, and pesto was excellent. Fried vegetable with sunflower seeds, green beans, and caramelized onions was delicious. Pizzas were fine. Gluten free spicy salami pizza was actually a bit spicy. Gluten-free tiramisu and Sicilian tarte were very good. Baby chair was the portable folding type strapped to a regular chair.

When planning our trip to Italy I thought finding gluten-free food might be challenging. It is, in fact, quite easy. We chose Be Bop for an opportunity to have pizza. Make a reservation. We did, but saw others turned away at the door. One reviewer said they did not have gluten free pizza. That is not true, but you must ask for the gluten free menu. The gluten free menu is extremely extensive. Our waiter was quite solicitous. My husband ordered off the regular menu and the waiter even made sure I understood that his entrée was not for me to sample. My starter was pumpkin tempura. I was hoping for the Japanese style tempura I used to enjoy, but this was a bit oilier. I would not recommend it over some of the other choices. The pizza was excellent. Too much for one person, but we took the remainder to go. I do not know if the«doggie bag» is normal here’s, but they were happy to provide it. The GF tiramisu was so, so good. I recommend Be Bop to anyone, especially the gluten-intolerant diner, but also many vegan and dairy free choices.

Great cheap gluten free pizza. However, we were turned away a couple of times for not having a reservation even though the restaurant was empty…

Came here on my birthday a week ago and it was great! I love that they ASK you if you want a gluten free menu instead of making you request it. I thought my chances of finding gluten free pizza in Italy were doomed, but they even had gluten free tiramisu for dessert! I was too busy enjoying my pear and Gorgonzola gf pizza to notice what he ordered, but my boyfriend said that the normal pizza was quite tasty as well. Sparkling house wine was tasty as was the red house wine. A little pricy for pizza, but the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. And let’s not forget that you’re paying a premium for the gluten free option and the fact that you’re dining in Milan.

I have celiac and pizza is the one thing I miss in NYC. I had pizza here and I loved it. It was awesome. The service was great, the wine was good. I will remember the pizza forever.

The most impressive aspect of Be Bop is the variety of vegetarian and gluten-free offerings.(Yet considering that another vegetarian restaurant is situated directly across the street, this may not be very unique.) The restaurant, itself, is bright and the staff are friendly. Having begun the meal with some delicious, in-house made breadsticks, I eagerly anticipated the plate of fresh, pumpkin gnocchi with onions, mushrooms, and slivered almonds to follow. Unfortunately, the dish proved disappointing: although the gnocchi had the perfect texture, it — along with the other ingredients — flopped in flavor. This seemed to be a common condition among the other pasta dishes at the table, one of which was a sampling of three different daily varieties. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things, but Be Bop was a non-event.

The pizzas are a nice change, almost cracker thin. The have really nice white pizzas with porcini or arthichokes. A nice regular place, I might be biased because of that. Their pastas are hit or miss but the sottocoperta(seafood pasta with bread dough baked over it) is really good. Vegetarian and wheat-free options are abundant. Very big place.
