Well it was my favorite restaurant in Milan because they had many traditional Italian dishes that we were unfamiliar with from our home and from North America. They were all well done. However, when we were there last week(December 2015) We found the same dishes on the menu. Nothing wrong with that. Definitely keep your Classics going. But they were all pretty lame and tired, uninspiring. Prices are not low but considering the heart of shopping heaven it is not unreasonable. We found the service good and recommendations enthusiastic. No complaints there.

I dislike giving negative ratings but this place is an overpriced racist dump. We arrived at 1230pm for lunch after receiving a recommendation from the department store clerk in Milan. We were the first to arrive and greeted by the waiter who was in his 30’s … he looked up and down at us like what are you doing here… very rude an pompous attitude. We were dress formally as we were shopping in the boutiques in Milan. Anyhow we were hesitantly seated. in the front section of the restaurant. our waiter was different than the waiter we were greeted by. We were hoping this was an anomaly but attitude. We felt uncomfortable but reluctantly ordered. the bread we got was bland and hard. We notice as patrons started to come in the local Italians were seated in the back of the restaurant and the asians were seated in the middle of the restaurant. our waiter over heard us when we made this observation and the next few patrons were seated in our area. overall, it was pretty obvious this restaurant does not like foreigners. We definitely felt discriminated against. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food was bland and ordinary and price was absurd.

Truly authentic Milanese food. From Risotto Ossobuco to Cotoletta alla Milanese. Also nice atmosphere and service. I always bring foreigners when they come to visit me in Italy, it’s a good way to impress guests! However, being Ialian, i could find cheaper places with the same quality. But still, one of my favourite restaurant in Milano.

Bice offers nothing more than mediocre cuisine at premium prices. Waking in, the flannel pajama patterned carpet dominates the entire place with 1990s lighting fixtures over illuminating the mustard yellow walls. As far as the food goes — I got the risotto alla Milanese as my first course, which was decent, but considering the 20 euro price tag, I expected more than decent. It was garnished with a wilted arugula leaf. That obviously didn’t necessarily take away from the taste but consistently contradicts the price point. My friend got their shrimp cocktail antipasti which came strangely in clam shells drenched in a pink Russian dressing style sauce. Definitely not what you would expect from shrimp cocktail.

Wow! I was taken to this restaurant hidden down an alleyway off Via Montenapoleone and what a delight it was. It’s a classy place. They will take your coat at the door and take you to your seat, where you will get delightful service and truly excellent food. And when I say truly excellent food, remember you are already in Italy which is pretty good for food anyway, and then you come here and get blown away! Great wine list, fabulous pasta and superb service all come together in nice surroundings with a cosy atmosphere. I can’t really recommend it anymore than I already have :)

Bice is one of my favorite restaurant in the entire world. They serve simple Milanese-Italian food that has a lot of home cook feel to it. We were recommended to this place by our hotel concierge. And even though one should be adventurous when one is in some foreign city, Bice is just that good that we can spend every lunch and dinner here. I have tried a lot of items in their menu and I just can’t find anything bad in the menu. There are just too many good things in the menu and I can’t even point a favorite. For some ideas, look at the photos that I uploaded. There’s nothing much more I can add except YOUMUSTGOTOTHISPLACE.

Came here with a reservation for a group of 13 people, and we were all extremely pleased. What I loved:(.everything) –Great service. Coat check before you head to your table. Waiter was accommodating and didn’t mind that we couldn’t speak a word of Italian(we had some laughs over this). He replenished our bread frequently. –Delicious food. Everything from the bread to the appetizers to the main course to the dessert. There were multiple kinds of bread to tickle every fancy, and a pretty large selection of appetizers, soups, pastas, meats, and desserts. –Ambiance. Classy, with an older and more refined clientele. We were definitely the youngest people there. Food recommendations: –Don’t skip out on dessert! The apple pie(their special recipe) with vanilla gelato was amazing. Tiramisu was great too. –Appetizers: fried calamari/vegetables, and the cold seafood salad complimented each other well. Share with multiple people and get both.
