Burger Wave

DEFINITELY a faaaar better experience than the one from Burger Wave in Via Ascanio Sforza. First off, we stepped inside and a smiling waitress welcomed us and allowed us to pick our table. She, then, placed a menu in front of us and invited us to make our choice with mo hurry (though ut was peak hours). That’s when I made the comment «WOW… soo much better vibes here than the other joint!». Well, guess who shows up? The manager! He was so bubbly, helpful and nice. And i learnt that the manager from the other joint is his cousin and they both agree that servers there are rude and never smile.
That’s when the waitress came back and asked us if we had made our choice. When i asked if they had a special she smiled and gave me all their choices. We chose shark bite burger and the horse special, an aussie beer, a coke and some fries…
The fries came in a nice bowl and NOT those absurd buckets that keep them extra hot for ages (used in the other location). They also brought all 4 sauces. Fries weren’t extra crunchy but that is understandable since they were huge. Salted just perfectly.
On to the burgers, though they probably NEVER ask how you want the burgers cooked… i liked the medium-​rare. On to the buns, not my favourite. The ingredients in my burger were well balanced, the mear was juicy. But it is NOT the best burger in town… just the best in the area and. so far, the best for my Burger Wave experience.
The manager is truly funny, affable and will go out of his wat to make sure your experience is a positive one. Which is what EVERY manager/​server should do.

coming from ohio, it was great to finally find a place with high-​quality, inexpensive burgers.
the chips were made fresh with 5 different sauces ranging from barbecue to chili mayo.
we ordered the ‘bird on brie’ and the ‘ripper’.
the patties were medium well with plenty of toppings.
they’re stacked pretty high, so they may get a little messy and you may need a knife and fork.
