I found Caffe della Pusterla while walking by as it is around the corner from the hotel I stayed on my visit to Milan. I ended up coming here twice, once for coffee and once for an aperitivo. The café itself is beautiful and old-fashioned. It’s cloistered behind a tall wrought iron fence covered with ivy, so it’s not open and welcoming, but once you step in, the atmosphere is lovely. A quick coffee here was fine, and there is free Wi-Fi which is always a bonus. I really enjoyed the aperitivo in which I had a well-made Negroni and helped myself to the generous spread on offer during happy hour — It featured crackers, dips, cheese and a few more substantial things. Overall, a nice option to enjoy while having a drink. I was allowed to linger here for as long as I pleased, and enjoyed availing myself of the Wi-Fi while I could. This was really a nice, welcome spot for a break in the area.
