The Charleston pizza was delicious! Tried also their mixed grill and was very good. Just a little disappointed with the portion size. But overall highly recommend

Amazing service and PIZZA! Came to us highly recommended for their pizza! Centrally located at the Cathedral Duomo! Great atmosphere both outside and inside! Hearing that I am from Texas — a special touch in my cappuccino! Love this place!

I have been coming to the Charleston for more than 9 years. Excellent service. New climate controlled patio. Food is wonderfully presented and prepared. Reasonable priced.

Visiting Italy from America. I decided to stop in here as I walked by. The food was delicious and the price is what could be expected from any sit down restaurant for an area such as Duomo. I had a glass of wine, pizza and sorbet with vodka. The dessert was my favorite. They ran out of all of the sweet white wines so I was disappointed. My waiter spoke fairly good English so that was an added bonus. I don’t expect everyone to speak English when I go to foreign countries but I speak almost no Italian so it was much easier to communicate with him than other places I’ve visited during my stay. Since it was a bit pricey I probably wouldn’t go back again during this visit but I would the next time I’m in Milano.

4 stars for the good food. I didn’t expect it to be at this level and I was positively surprised. Prices are quite high, but if you consider that it’s just 2 blocks from Duomo and with outdoor tables in a beautiful square that was inevitable. Service a bit slow but generally OK.

Das Restaurant wirkt von außen sehr touristisch, es zahlt sich aber aus, es zu probieren. Man erhält typisch italienische Gastfreundschaft, ein super leckeres Essen und einen guten Espresso. Empfehlenswert sind Fisch und Meeresfrüchte.

Nice location, specially the outdoor seating. It is more touristic place then local, The food is not bad.

I came here for lunch with a friend.
We sat outside because it was nice out.
I probably would have preferred sitting inside but since it’s tented the sunshine was bearable.
I ordered the chicken salad, it was okay.
My friend had the Charleston salad-​only difference was that he had ham, I had chicken.
The salad consisted of meat, lettuce, cheese, basta.
But the amount of chicken they put in was impressive.
I wished there was more cheese though.
I had water and a coffee.
There was a sitting fee, the bill came out to 42 something.
A little pricey for lunch (or shall I say a salad, water, coffee)
But it’s in the city center so I guess I can’t really complain.
Overall, the service was okay.
Food was okay.
Everything was mediocre

The most important in a resaurant is the food, which is rather good. However, the staff is not very service minded although the food was prepared quickly. The wine list is not very extensive and they did not have our preferred choice from the list they were out. They were likewise out of a dessert speciality of the house not good enough. I do not recommend this restaurant to other but would suggest to find another place to dine.

Super zentrale Lage, ganz in der Nähe des Doms und der Fußgängerzone und dennoch akzeptable Preise. Daher bietet sich das Charleston für ein Mittagessen nach oder während des Einkaufens an.
Die Bedienung mal so mal so. Einmal sehr freundlich, beim zweiten Besuch eher etwas mürrisch.
Das Essen sehr ordentlich und eine ziemlich große Auswahl auch jede Menge Kuchen und Süßspeisen, die mächtig lecker aussahen.
Die gemischten Antipasti nach Art des Hauses schmeckten mir sehr gut, ebenso die Tagliate, Scheiben Filetsteak, die auf dem Teller gebraten wurden mit Rosmarin und anderen Kräutern.
Gute Lage, großes Restaurant, in dem man auch ohne Vorbestellung einen Tisch bekommt und die große Auswahl an Gerichten wir werden bestimmt wieder dorthin gehen.
