Great little place this. First off it’s tucked away on a side street just off the main road which means it probably doesn’t get a passing trade of tourist knobs(aside from myself LOL). Secondly it looks old and reminds me of all the great little cafes in London that got renovated and made to look«cool» — the toilet is one of those urinals built into the floor that looks a bit like a shower and has places for your feet to go whilst you piss. You are definitely not going to have a shit here FYI so please bear that in mind. I sat down and got a regular salami slice. They had a spicy version but as I was a little hungover I wasn’t brave enough to go down that road. I’m not going to lie and say that this is the best pizza I’ve ever had, because it isn’t, but it has its own charm and found it to be very enjoyable being in the state of mind I was in. It’s deep dish with a very thick spongy base. The base is so spongy in fact that if I was the size of a fly and the pizza was removed of its toppings, then it would act like some kind of bread based bouncy castle that I could quite happily hop on for hours. In the oven something happens to the base where it almost seems like it’s fried and adds quite a nice crunch. It’s a good thing they only give you one slice of this otherwise you would probably grow a third tit made out of cheese and grease — it’s pretty heavy. Nice staff too who were helpful and pleasant, windows and doors open to allow the cool Milanese breeze in. It was lovely.

Cool place to grab a slice. Very casual and easy-going place. There will be someone who speaks English and can help you out. Pizza is good — not the best I’ve had. But it’s a totally cool grab and go type of place that you should visit if you’re in the area. No need for a special trip over there. Located close to the park.
