I know… i should wait untill I have tried a few other items off the menu of this American(traditional) diner. However, I do believe the only potentially American thing this place truly has is the name. Contemporary, minimalist, aseptic… to wishy washy. this is a place you simply sit down, order as fast as possible, get your food with an express-order feel attached to it. Gulp it down almost without chewing, and rush to the cash register to pay and get out of dodge… Should you hesitate or try to «think a while», you have the distinct feeling your server is a fraction of a second away from catapulting you out of the door. After all, this place is ÜBER packed for lunch with businessmen/women, models, fashionistas, you real TV flavor of the second. They are constantly in a rush and service is constantly running and expressing orders. Overall, my avocado salad was not bad at all!!! My draft beer was quite nice as well. However, it lacked the IT factor, the«i wanna come back to try this, that and everything on the menu»… And, EXACTLY what American Traditional is there? Hamburgers? Fajitas? Maybe even so, but our salads were perfect for models!!! Though i liked my choices, 14 € for that salad is pretty EXPENSIVE. Word to the wiser, just look at the menu straight away, maoe your choice pronto, turn in your order and then, ANDONLYTHEN, start chitchatting with your fellow meal goers… you may risk being visually lynched by your waitress if you don’t. …

Trendy restaurant in a trendy neighborhood, and that’s it. The service is terrible and not professional at all. When the food came, the waitress asked who ordered the caprese salad, to which I responded it was for me: she put the plate in front of my boyfriend. Then she asked the same for the club sandwich, we said we were going to share it so she can put it in the middle. Guess what, she put it in front of me. Okay, so next time, please don’t ask, put everything on the table and we’ll manage. But fortunately for us, there will be no next time. The food was just okay: guys, you are Italians, you should know how to make food!

Loved everything about this place. Studied abroad in Milan for 5 months and hate that I didn’t find this place INTHENEIGHBORHOODTHAT I LIVEDIN until the final few weeks. Otherwise, I would have frequented more often. The food is amazing and I just wanted to try everything on the menu. The fresh squeezed juices will also go great with whatever breakfast you get. The décor was also cool. This place is perfect if you’re looking for an American style breakfast in Milan.

I wish I could you more about the food but after 15 mins, we had to leave because three different waiters refused to take our order. The waiters kept taking orders from tables around us to make us feel even worse. I have no idea what they have against tourists but I would strongly recommend against coming here. We have been to three Italian cities and this is by far the worst restaurant, service and experience.

Came here for Sunday Breakfast with high expectations based on the hip-looking menu, clever name and hipster neighborhood. The kitchen opened at 12 and a rush of young Italian families rushed in right on time. The french toast was slightly eggy bread and very disappointing, although the bacon on top was well done and bountiful. We also had a dark colored smoothie, that didn’t do anything exciting and eggs benedict, which weren’t bad. Overall, the breakfast is an average attempt at American-style brunch, but nothing to come back for. The best part of GSTF is the open plan, nice design and the type of crowd that you won’t find in central Milan.

Large portions and great food. Love the interior. Took me a while to flag down some service but I think because it was in a down time, don’t really understand Italian customs and siestas yet.

God save me from this place! I really wanted to like GSTF. And there’s nothing wrong with it, aestetically. It is a nice minimalistic open space in Milan’s fashion district(via tortona), their brunch has been described as real American(so, no buffet, you order as many dishes as you want but you pay for each of them), top quality ingredients, blah blah… Too bad the service is horrible: they greet you with: «we will need you to leave the table at 2pm, since we are very fast with service, you also have to be fast»(really? then why did I have to wait more than 1 hour to get my bloody mary??? –after asking for it 4 times!), it’s like staff is paying you to serve you instead of the opposite. Well, ok, you might say, service is bad but at least the food is good… wrong! The burgers came cold and raw in the core, kind of like when you put frozen meat in the grid and don’t cook it properly, «fresh squeezed» juices came to the table looking as if they were squeezed 3 hours earlier. Even if the burgers looked good, they were cold and raw… However, if you are a model who only eats salad and want a nice place to be seen at, it might be for you.

The staff here seemed a bit snobby, so my review is solely based on the food and ambience of the restaurant. This place gets packed for brunch so make reservations! I came with a buddy on Sunday at noon and managed to sit at the bar without ressies. The restaurant reminds me of a Santa Monica farmer’s market brunch. They have fresh juices! I recommend the items I got: guava, orange, and banana juice french toast with American bacon! it also comes with a side salad I also tried the florentine, which you can skip. the hash brown was a bit salty(coming from someone who has a salt tooth), the proscuitto was blah, hollandaise sauce was horrible — done wrong — so thick and fatty tasting, but the spinach was nice! I’ll definitely be coming back! :)

Super laid back atmosphere in a district that used to be a rat trap back when I was a kid, but is now one of the coolest and artsy areas of Milano. This bakery/restaurant/bar/lounge(I really wouldn’t know how to describe it properly) serves delicious food for any taste and diet, try it out!

People have told me many things about God Save The Food. They were all mixed reviews. Some liked it, some said it was overrated. Well I just had to try it for myself. Love the entrance because it’s automatic. WHOOHOO! The interior is super cute, reminds me of a café in New York City. LOVEEEE! It was a little bright thought but then again, I was half awake and in need of coffee. I was a little disappointed in the size of the americano. I thought I would get a HUGE cup of Joe like I would at Tizzy’s. I had to order two but that still was not enough, but it was only 1 euro. I tried pancakes because I wanted breakfast even though it was lunch time. I didn’t even bother looking at anything else on the menu. It came with two thin pancakes and fruit. I loved the fruit but I wished the pancakes were thicker and fluffier. There was no sitting fee. YAY! My pancakes was 10 euros and each cup of americano was 1 euro. So it was a well spent 12 euros. Service is excellent, the place is clean and very modern. I will come again to try the other food and do a review update till then you should totally give this place a try!
