Hotel del Corso

Great location! across street from one of the main metro stations and 2 exits from centrale trains. Also right off corso de buenas airesc which is a street lfull of shops that goes for miles.
Receptionists were patient kind and knowledgeable .
The room of very clean very basic. All I needed.
Breakfast was all you can eat and had variety and kept me full til dinner. Would stay there again.

I’d like to start by saying that this was a nice hotel and good value for money. it is advertised as a four star hotel, I don’t know who gives out the stars for Hotels but 3 Stars would be the most I would give it, It is small and well situated near a Metro station the rooms are an adequate size, clean looking and reasonably furnished so you have plenty of space to stow your designer gear, pasta and maps. The rooms have tiled floors which I imagine would be lovely in the summer but in the winter you should bring a nice thick pair of woolly socks just in case you need to walk around on the floor without getting hypothermia. I had some problems that stemmed from the top bed covers and the curtains, which it seems, were dusty causing my Asthma to flare up when in my room this was of course a big concern for me and would be for others with similar problems. My partner had no problem at all.
Breakfast was reasonably good with bread, croissants, cheese, meat, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. The fruit juice is not the best quality but you can quench your thirst, replenish your sugar levels and trigger the onset of tooth decay at the same time !! They have a selection of teas and a machine that produces a range of drinkable coffee. The best thing about this hotel by far was the nice friendly and helpful staff, everything we asked for we got with a smile. My best tip for this hotel would be to avoid the room next to the lift, from what I heard it is noisy!
