Let me begin with praising Donatella’s dream and introduce you to a mini version of Willy Wonka’s factory(NOT Tim Burton’s version), even though you shan’t find any oompa loompas tenaciously work in the back of this bakery. First off, the location. Nope, no under the table deals were made, neither has this amazing example of Italian business success story pulled strings we are unaware of. It is simply a good dose of luck and some amazing astral coincidence. Located in what I consider one of the most amazing little corners of my beloved Milan(Vicolo dei Lavandai), this sweets’ paradise immerges you in a tiny cupcake paradise. Upon entering you wonder if you stepped into your childhood’s dollhouse and immediately look for little heart shaped teacups. The theme is pretty in pink. The location is super cozy and the MASTER, MISTER, SUPREMEAMAZEBALLS is the cupcake. I personally believe muffins to be MUCH better, however these cupcakes are indeed the WOW factor. Everything made from scratch in the back by the owner and served with a smile and overwhelmingly sweet passion. Attemptive to allergies and ethical needs, you will surely find the perfect match between your personal needs and your peculiar taste: vegan? Check. No yeast? Check. Celiac? Check. Do you feel cupcakes aren’t your cup of tea? Just ask for your own personalized cheesecake, allow a few days and: BOOYAKA!!! So, next time you are CRAVING for a sweets fix, head on to the Naviglio Grande from the Darsena… walk but a few steps and, you shall find the Vicolo. Head on to the very end and and you step into your little cupcake paradise corner!

This is a super cute bakery with creative cupcakes, cookies, sweet gifts and of course espresso. You need to head down an alley off the Naviglio Grande but we found it worthwhile. The proprietors were quite friendly and welcoming also.

Very cute little bakery tucked away and sort of hidden in Navigli grande area. It reminds me of a scene from a little girl’s tea party. I had the pistachio cookie and lemon iced tea — meh, I’ve really had better. The lady at the counter was very nice :) Nice to try if you are in the area looking for a quick sweet!
