If you want real Italian experience-​this is the right place! Fast service, great food and fair prices. During lunchtime this place is full of locals. I think thi is the best recommendation.

been to a lot of restaurants in the area and this one by far beats all of them in price, taste and selection. also, it’s a short walk to the navigli strip.
meal for two including one pizza, two pastas and a beer and a soda came out to 26 € including the 2 € sitting fee.

Very good and cheap spot off the main drag. It’s quite cheap and probably better than many of the fairly pricey spots on the canals. When we went there were several local parties going on and the ambiance was very lively.
We got a pizza to split along with a seafood and fresh pomodoro pasta and a sausage & pomodoro ragu pasta. Add in a couple of beers and it was a very nice italian meal! Recommended for good solid italian food. If you need the canal view grab some food here before heading to the canals for drinks later in the evening.
