Delicious Octopus with tomato, basil, and bell pepper dish! Very friendly waitress who also speaks English very well. Ordered take away and was very prompt. paid in Cash. Price is what you’d expect for seafood. I definitely recommend. Small place for large groups. The most they can seat is 4 at a time comfortably.

Having Galician blood in my veins I think I’m entitled to say that I loved this restaurant. The place is tiny, 3 steps under street level and it has a cozy atmosphere. Decorated as a fishermen shack, be ready to be seated(not so comfortably) in tiny benches and reduced spaces. The food is great, most Galician specialties are present in the menu: Pulpo a feira(octopus), Padron peppers, razor clams, Galician pie, calamari, cod, etc. and other Spanish dishes like tortilla, paella, Catalan crème brûlée, etc. However, since this is clearly a Galician restaurant, and the name clearly states it’s famous for Pulpo… why would you order paella?! We obviously had the Tapas tasting and the Pulpo(21 € per person) and the Sangría pitcher(€ 16) — I wanted a bottle of Alvarinho but the others in my party didn’t so I had to compromise… The Sangría was good but not excellent, it was missing some fruity flavor but it was refreshing. The tapas selection consists of 6 dishes(they’re chosen by them, so if there’s something you don’t like, tell them or ask while ordering): Galician pie, razor clams, tortilla, squid in ink sauce, creamed cod with potatoes. Everything was delicious, portions were fine, actually the tapas selection could be enough if you’re not that hungry. The pulpo was perfect, tender and big tentacles, simply cooked with oil, coarse salt and pimentón(paprika). We didn’t get to dessert, actually we even got doggy bags for the pulpo and the squid because we were so full! We only got a liquor called Mandragora, made from mandrake(a «witch» plant), nice if you like herbal digestive liquors. The nice waitress is Galician so she knows her menu, if you’re not sure of what to order she’ll describe the dishes and give you great advice.
