Dropped in here with a work colleague not knowing what to expect, we got a warm welcome and although very little English spoken we worked our way through the menu. Prices written in letters not numbers didn’t help but once we figured that out we were OK.
If you want steak then you are at a good place, we had a fillet «on the stone» cooked to perfection and served on a hot stone plate to keep it warm, it came with only a few potatoes, some rocket salad and some salsa. The garlic and herb mayo was excellent. We also had a couple of beers, there was some confusion over the beer order as either one of the beers was unavailable or one of the glass sizes was unavailable but it wasn’t important, we were happy although the drinks did take a while to arrive, I suspect our waiter was the only guy on duty in the place.
We were early 7:30 on a Tuesday night and there were only a two people in there when we arrived, some more arrived later. The boss showed up later and spoke good English, our Italian is not up to much.
Price was good for Milan, we were there in business and always struggle to bring the evening meal in under budget. We will be back next trip.
