This restaurant is fantastic! The ingredients are so fresh and high quality, and the food expertly prepared. I had the gnocchi, and every bite was a creamy pillow of deliciousness. My boyfriend had the petit filet, medium rare, and it was the perfect texture and taste. Here, you order wine by the bottle, not glass. We ordered Chianti and it was great. For desert we had crème brûlée– sweet, creamy, and caramelized just right. They are very liberal with the liqueurs here, and left a pistachio and chocolate flavor on our table-very decadent! I highly recommend making reservations – it’s a popular spot! You won’t find many tourists here, and it’s definitely a gem for Milano culinary.

Really lucky find. Thank you Roberta for the recommendation. Great service and great food. I had Spaghetti which was prepared by the table on a huge slab of parmesan cheese. Very yumny, just slightly undercooked pasta for my taste. Also on the menue: ribeye strak(500grs) for € 20. We did not have this but judging by the food we had, probably also great

This place is fabulous! Best meal in Italy. But get there at 7:30 when they open to get in on a week-night without a reservation. Service was superb and the food out-of-this-world. They nicely squeezed us in our second night and saved the wine we didn’t finish the first.

Definitely a MUSTGO place when in town, you can tell how local you are by the number of tables speaking English! Prob me and my friends are the only ones! Congrats to Sandro and his entire team! Exceptional service and delicious food!

Spent two weeks in Italy and this was my family’s absolute favorite restaurant! Make sure to make a reservation, or else arrive before 7:30 pm(when they open) to try to grab a spot at the sharing table. They will try their best to fit you in Dinner starts with a free glass of prosecco each and bread. We started with a bowl of mussels that were so tender my mom declared them the best she’d had in her life. For our entrees, I went with the risotto. Dad with the beef tenderloin. Mom with the Milanese veal cutlet. All were superb! The price is right here too, with none of the dishes going over 15 euro. We also ordered a bottle of house red for 10 euro. The next time I or anyone I know is in Milan, this will be the go to place.

Was rude. Asked for a table and was told 10 minutes so we waited patiently for more than 30. We were ignored basically. Sad, looked like a nice place.

Ever have one of those amazing restaurant experiences where it feels like the entire restaurant is interacting together over wine, and the servers are also taking part? That’s what it was like at Nerino Dieci when we dined here for my step father’s birthday on a Friday night at 8pm! Seriously, a great atmosphere where your neighbors become your friends(despite not speaking the same languages) and you’ll be toasting whatever they are toasting! Ambiance — warm and cozy with a fire place(though it was used for wine storage), which reminds me that the place was stacked with wine all around! Service — really outstanding and they did a great job bringing out a candle for the birthday boy. Wine — very comprehensive wine list sorted by color and then by region(Italian wines only). As noted, wine in Europe is cheap, and this was no exception, bottles started at 14 euros and went up from there, with the majority in the 18 euro area. Our chosen bottle was fantastic! Food — Absolutely amazing! Two dishes really stood out, although I must note, I believe the menu changes here by season! So what did we eat? Well, a lot, even the server was shocked by our order, but I told him we could handle it. **Octopus in pesto sauce — hands down the best octopus of my life! **Assorted burratas — I learned I do not like smoked burrata, but other than that, this place was great! **Scallops Au Gratin — ok, nothing to rave about. **Risotto — warm and creamy! **Pesto pasta — delicious! **Beef Tenderloin — SOSOSO good! **Pistachio covered Tuna — perhaps the best tuna steak of my life! Melt in your mouth good. **Veal cutlets — good, but the radicchio was too bitter and I had to pick it out. **Side of roasted veggies — ok. **Leonardo — very good! Though some of the fruit at the bottom was off putting, perhaps I just wasn’t expecting melon lol. **DIY Cannolis — Not a huge fan of cannolis so I stayed away. **Ricotta cake — delicious! Seriously, MAKE A RESERVATION. We came early at 8pm by Italy standards and found the place quite busy. When we walked out at ~10pm the place was insane and a line was congregating out front that reminded me of people waiting at The Cheesecake Factory!

I had found this place on TripAdvisor and made a reservation about 2 ½ weeks before our trip. The atmosphere was casual but intimate and the service was outstanding. Our server, Cosimo was great. We dished out our sarcastic brand of humor and he gave it back to us along with some excellent food suggestions. I don’t remember what everyone in my family ordered but I do remember the Turanici al pomodorino Fresco in forma di Grana because we shot video of the table-side preparation. After we had dessert, the manager came by and left about 4 different bottles of chilled liqueurs with digestif glasses. What restaurant would do that in the states? I wish we had one more night in Milan, so that we could eat there again.

This restaurant was fantastic! The atmosphere is amazing — the kitchen has two glass windows so you can see what the chefs are doing. The ingredients arrive fresh right before the restaurant opens at 7:30pm. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to seat is anyway — warning us that the table we were at was reserved at 9, but never rushing us, even as it approached 9pm. The cooks are extremely fast at cooking and whip orders out of the kitchen very fast. The place filled up very fast, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time! I had the Spaghetti with Lobster and it was delicious! The lobster was the most delicious I’ve ever had. They serve prosecco at the beginning of the meal and limoncello at the end, which is a great touch. They also have bags of bread and a basket of fresh croutons on the table. My only issue was with my dad’s order — it came significantly later than the rest of my family’s — almost by 30 minutes. Our guess was with the pace of everything it must have gotten lost. Still, it was a bit frustrating to be completely done eating and then watch my dad try to rush to finish his meal. Either way this place had really great food and a cool atmosphere. Definitely would dine here again!

Excellent food, comfortable ambience and wonderful service at very reasonable prices. Booked a few days early through email. Extremely welcoming to English-speaking patrons. Did not have any salt or seasoning on the table – that’s how deservedly confident they are about their food’s tastes. Very glad I found this gem on Unilocal

Terrific. Would go back in a heartbeat. Ambience: Located in a very quiet back-street it’s small but well appointed with seats up front to watch the chefs or down the back where it’s quieter. Will be busy or sold out pretty much all the time so book ahead. Service: Very friendly and attentive(but also run ragged, so plan for a little longer) Food: Terrific. I had the lobster pasta and it was divine. I’m uploading a photo but it doesn’t do it justice as there is about half a lobster buried under all this. It also came with very nice fresh crunchy bread. Good wine selection too. Price: Worth every penny but really much cheaper than a comparable meal in the States. If I’m ever back in Milan this will be one of my first stops.

I really can’t rate this restaurant because I didn’t get to eat here. I had read the great reviews online, so I wanted to try it for lunch a couple of days ago. My friend and I arrived at about 1 p.m. and were immediately told that we could not be accommodated because we did not have a reservation. Just a word to the wise …

Excellent Italian food. Fine cuisine at a very affordable price. We didn’t make a reservation but showed up at 7:30 when they opened. They were very accommodating to seat the 3 of us. We just had to give the table back at 9pm. Service was top notch and food was superb. We ordered the Trofie pasta, grand Padano pasta, lamp chops(these were soso), the grilled snapper, and the fennel & grapefruit salad as a side. We saw lots of ppl ordering calamari and the salt covered Seabass. Both looked excellent coming out of the kitchen. We’ll definitely return to this restaurant next time we are in town.

This place is fabulous! Great prices and delicious food. The cheese plate with jams is AMAZING, but everything we tried was high quality and interesting. The waiters explained the dishes thoroughly, service was attentive overall, and the ambiance is lovely– cozy, sophisticated, and romantic. Definitely call or email in advance and place a reservation– this place fills up fast!

Our last meal after 16 days traveling around Italy and was one of the best and most memorable. We started with prosciutto topped on top of this pillowy soft fried gnocchi. These are amazing. We then shared between the 3 of us the lobster pasta. Such a big portion and good price! My friend and I had the salt baked cod which was filleted in front of us. My husband had steak with mushroom sauce. Everything was delicious. We were so full but our friend(who is living in Milan and knows her food) said we had to get tiramisu. We shared it and it was delicious. A coconut one, a regular one and another I forgot. And then the creamy limoncello and chocolate liquor at the end were very nice. I want to eat here right now!

This was an incredibly reasonably-priced meal, and they seated us even though we came in after 10 pm on a weeknight! I had grilled swordfish and grilled veggies: both were delicious. They even brought us free after-dinner limoncello and chocolate liqueur. It was fun to be able to see into the kitchen, and the ambiance was relaxed and fun. Recommended!

I came here for lunch and Nerino Dieci delivered. The mussels were 7 euros are a great bargain. Cooked well and full of delicious white wine broth. Huge portion. The 9 euro set menu had a boring pasta dish, but, it came with a fantastic ricotta tart, glass of wine and a café. Great deal. Great overall lunch. Need to return for dinner.

MYFAVORITERESTAURANTINMILAN! Seriously everyone: this place is the best, everything here is amazing and it is all reasonably priced. You can get a pot of cozze(mussels) for 7 Euros! All of the cozze dishes are delicious, every flavor is like a burst of savory goodness! Don’t forget to dip your bread in the soup too ;) So here are some of the favorites from the menu: — Cozze Alla ‘Nduja — Tagliolini Neri con Vongole e ‘Nduja — Gnocco Fritto con Coppa Piacentina — Filetto di Maiale con Trevisana e Mele Caramellate the BEST are the desserts, again everything is amazing but my favorites: — Crema Malivian — Tartatin con Gelato alla Crema — Panna Cotta The staff is friendly and the owner is the nicest guy ever! American friendly, they speak English and have English menus :) They have a great wine list too! If you dunno your wines, as your server to suggest a bottle of white to go with your cozze. I’m a regular here and cannot wait to go back again! ENJOY!
