Good resturant close to Turro Metro Station and Antares Best Western Hotel in south Milan area. This restaurant is known for the traditinal «Gemilli» style pizza, an authentic Italian pizza. They have a wide range of pizza from the classic Margherita to mushrooms and even tuna. The pizza are flavorful and made with simple and fresh ingredients. For € 10 the pizza is huge and will fill you up. This place also offers various pasta dishes from lasagna to bake pasta. I ordered one the baked pasta Milanese style and it was delicious. Made with light tomato sauce, olive oil, a generous portion of parmigiano regiano. It came out sizzling hot from the oven and made a crunchy crust. on the upper portion of the pasta. I was very satisfied with it. Again simple yet so delicious food. All the food they served are made from scratch including the desserts. We’ve tried the classic tiramisu and panna cotta. Tiramusu wad great, not too sweet yet creamy and just the right touch of coffee and amaretto. Panna cotta is creamy and yummy. Service staff are friendly but slow since place can be packed by tourist at any given point due to its location. Overall, this restaurant is good, good food, good service and will not break your bank.
