Beautiful area with lots of people and nightlife. Pasta was cooked el dente and so flavorful! We got the pumpkin ravioli and mushroom/sausage pasta dish — both were amazing. Finished with Italian espresso and tiramisu. Tiramisu tasted more like custard, good but not mind-blowing. Bread at the table to start did not taste fresh. Service was ok. Ambiance is intimate and warm.

I’m not easy to give 5 starts I’m in the restaurant business First I was looking for a great traditional ossobuco this place does a fantastic job complimented with a saffron risotto. I did ask for extra sauce is worth it. The house wine is Barbera de alba which is light enough to sustain anything from pasta to ossobuco the half litter was 7eur good price for the quality. The dessert you must try the tiramisu I must say it was orgasmic, light on the lady fingers heavy on the mascarpone I tell you I’ve had tiramisu all over the world and it was fantastic. Sparkling water was 2.50 Tiramisu 6 Ossobuco 22 Not bad price for the quality.

Unaccommodating, rude, pathetic excuse for an establishment claiming to be in the Hospitality Industry.

A l’ancienne!

We arrived in Milan today by train and after checking into our hotel our stomachs were calling us to find some food. I had received feedback from several people that a great place to find some good food and ambiance was to head to the canal area of Milan known as the Navigli area. This area is one of the more picturesque areas of Milan and is littered with a variety of bars, shops, and restaurants, and really comes alive in the evening. As we walked by this Osteria we noticed the bountiful and beautiful plates of pasts people were enjoying at the outside tables. We were welcomed in by a very friendly waiter and walked through several different room areas of the restaurant. We headed to a back area that looked like it might have once been used as a cellar. The server recommended the homemade pasta dish with fresh seafood and shellfish along with a white wine. While we were waiting for our food they brought a basket of fresh hot bread just out of the oven. My husband made a concept to not fill up on bread, but before we knew it the basket was empty. The pasta came and we were not disappointed. The helpings were large and more than we could finish. It was delicious. My husband who doesn’t even like shellfish couldn’t stop eating it. A fantastic start to a great weekend.
