So this seems to be an event space and we lucked into it by accident thanks to the Milan Expo and the region of Valtellina who was using this space to showcase their regional food. It’s a good space — not huge but enough to have a serving table, like a buffet, and tables for approx 15 people. The location is also pretty darn good, as located on the trendy Via Dante, so if a local, you can totally rock this space out. Speaking of the event itself, they served two plates. A hot plate and a cold one alongside dessert. Liked the fact that the cost of the plate included a glass of wine. I got both plates and so tried both the red and white wines, and for me the white was the standout. In the hot plate category, I really really loved the mashed potatoes in green beans — those beans were so good, they just melted into the potato flavour while bringing a bit of their own herb like taste. Just delicious and I could have gobbled heaps more. They also served a spetzle like pasta which was super hearty(Valtellina is located in the alps after all). Their cold plate was not their memorable — just cheese and beef. A shout out for the desserts served tho — both the yogurt and the olive oil cake were super delicious.
