Hands down, Spontini rulez.
I am a fan, I can’t help but love this pizza.
Crusty, soft, greasy enough, terrific!
I wanna write my review in english because this is a «must visit» pizza place for people coming from out of Italy, they can’t really miss it.
Spontini’s slice’ s pretty popular in Milano, among both locals and visitors: it’s really tasty, different from the others.
No chances you’ll get confused by the menu: they just offer margherita, regular or extra size. You can choose extra mozzarella. Wait a few minutes and enjoy your slice.
The service is friendly and fast; the pizzeria is open until midnight, and you can be served until 11: 45, more or less. Just be ready to leave before midnight, if you don’t want to get bad eyes from the staff.
Last but not least it’s very cheap: 5,00 regular, 5,50 extra size. You will be served, but won’t pay any service fee. The inside is bright, clean, relaxing.
This location is perfect for a post or pre cinema pizza, since it’s close to Colosseo theatre, and very easy to reach also from piazza Duomo: just hop on tram 12 or 27 and hop off at «Piazza 5 giornate». As an alternative you can choose one of the other locations, all around the city.
