Toasteria Mi Casa

Great place for Lunch: the selection of toasts varies across all Italian flavors of cheese, veggies and meat. Service is nice and the only thing to complain about is the waiting time around lunch to get the food.

Gemütlich eingerichtet, ist auch sehr voll geworden (am Besten reservieren oder einfach dann hingehen, wenn nicht gerade Mittagszeit o.ä. ist) In der Toastaria haben wir selbstverständlich Toasts gegessen. Man kann sich diese Spieße am Besten zu 2t teilen, wenn man nur einen Snack will… ansonsten ist das schon fast ‘né Hauptmahlzeit. Ich hatte ein vegetarisches Set mit Auberginen, was im Gesamteindruck nicht besonders saftig war und eher etwas langweilig rüberkam. Nachdem ich die Kanten nicht mitgegessen habe, habe ich dann auch alles geschafft! Daumen hoch für das Personal, dass uns noch untergebracht hatte und sich bemüht hat mit uns Englisch zu sprechen!

They have outdoor seating on a quiet street.

Couldnt tell you what the food was like because they only had one frustrated girl working the counter and making the food. We were on schedule and knew that we would miss our train of we stuck around to be served. We got up early and allotted an hour to order and eat. It wasn’t going to be enough. Place was very cute. Bummer that they don’t know how to run a business and we had to leave.

Everything was perfect! Soups are amazing! Kind staff, very nice «home» design! Amber shock beer is very testy!:)

I fell in love with Toasteria Mi Casa from the first time I visited their previous little shop, their toasts are simply amazing and they are always taking care of the smallest detail: cute décor, kind staff and excellent ingredients. The new, bigger (but not huge, so bookings are advised), location has everything they are known and appreciated for, plus new menu items, like soups, salads, etc.
The area is still the same as last location, near the Turro metro stop, nothing really pretty around but a quieter neighborhood than you might expect, plus it’s always good to explore other parts of the city.
Toasts are 5 euros, you pick the bread (white, with cereals, special of the day), you can add baked potato with homemade mayo for 3 euros. For me that’s a full meal, but even if I only ate the toast it would be enough. Or perhaps the toast and some bread with white chocolate… Yum!
What else can I say? I just want to come back all other times of the day, for breakfast, for a sweet mid-​morning treat or perhaps an aperitivo!
